iC:
The same feelings of pride continued as she listened to Aelariah and Gjelu carry on so confidently and enthusiastically. And yet she could expect nothing less. Still, she couldn't help the slight nagging in her stomach. Perhaps it was the prospect of Gjelu leaving again. Even if this time was different...
She listened as he spoke to her both with confidence and maturity and also revealing a little bit of his true interior. Antarctica smiled at him. "Well why do you think I've kept this to myself thus far?" she asked. Watching her son, she saw how grown up he really had become. "You two just be careful and come back to me," she said also. And then, they were preparing to leave. Antarctica watched them and said a silent prayer over their journey.
Aelariah nodded and smiled when their mother instructed them to take care of themselves. Well, that would have been a given, she thought. She turned her attention to Gjelu as he announced they'd have a rematch. Admittedly... Gjelu was greater than her physically. She revisited those thoughts as she had previously. But she was fast... her physique gave her a certain litheness and agility. But at the same time, the practical side of her couldn't help wondering if they should preserve energy. Then again... it never seemed as though that were much of an issue.
The lavender and white wolfess smiled at her brother with a slight smirk of mischief. "Ground it is," she said. Immediately, she was off. Whatever laid in their path, she could easily navigate... and she hoped Gjelu would at least give her the credit that she could keep up. She was going to try anyway.
