Personality:
Adventurous and imaginative, the world is fresh and new, her journey letting her explore what she has never seen before. Coming from where she has, the woman is unaccustomed to life in the real world, having a hard time understanding that evil lurks around many corners, and that not everyone is as patient and forgiving as the people she was used to. She's got many personalities, masks that come on or off depending on the situation. She can be reserved and quiet in front of strangers and people she knows little about, or she can be spunky and talkative, mostly around her partner, who she relies on for companionship and protection, though that isn't to say she's completely defenceless herself. More often than not, she's curious and relatively chatty, having an attitude at times that can get her into trouble. She thinks the world of her partner and their relationship is very strong, having been together for so long, there's nothing she wouldn't do for him, frequently indulging in deep conversations about their past. She's often reminded to act like her father would want her too, and despite it getting under her skin, she'll usually let it slip and start behaving.
Biography:
From the day she was born Wynn was given a guardian to keep her safe and amused, replacing the mother she had lost in her childbirth. Her father doted on his daughter for her first years of life, providing her with toys and education, but not much time or attention as he was a busy man. For the first few years of her life Wynn was mostly kept inside due to a protective father, but his faith in her guardian slowly grew, and eventually she was allowed outside for longer periods under her watchers supervision. When she wasn't learning about the world, English, mathematics, and her own and neighboring kingdoms, she was out with her guardian, playing games or riding horses. It was difficult not having a mother figure, and a father who was always busy, her protector all she knew. They bonded strongly, shared secrets and told stories, like lost old souls they came together, until their bond was unbreakable.
As she grew, her father began to lay strict rules down that he hoped would mold her into the perfect young woman. He called a stop to all games, gave her harder studies and kept her from leaving the castle to meet anyone new, her only friends being a feline named Tux, and a man who was under orders to lay down his life for her. Although it upset her, she never gave her father hassle and was a good daughter, albeit deprived. On her tenth birthday after the morning celebrations her guardian asked if she'd like to go into town, replying with an instant excited yes, ever so glad to get out of the castle's grounds. They left and explored shops until they arrived at their destination, an auction of horses. He let her pick out her own and they took it home, a young white and black quarter pony, who she lovingly named Salty. Together they trained the horse and eventually he was fit to ride, the two going on long trails when she wasn't expected to be studying or doing anything else.
Several years had passed and her bond with her protector had not faded, the two spending all their time together. Despite her fathers wishes, she learned how to use a knife and basic self defence from her guardian, they still played games and talked for long hours while walking along on their horses, the girl who was once young and immature growing up right before everybody’s eyes. With realization of this, and a conflict at hand, her father did what needed to be done, an contacted a neighboring kingdom, preparing to get his daughter wed, for nothing more than political reasons. He loved her more than anything and wanted to keep her happy, but he knew things had to change, and she couldn't live life with her guard forever.
The news broke her heart. Was her father really so selfish that he would marry her off to keep the kingdom from war? Their army was supposed to be strong and feared, why did he have to resort to this? In her teachings she learned what was going to happen; she'd be forced to leave home, to leave her cat and her horse, and to leave the one person in the world who gave her his time. She fell depressed and quiet, not wanting to talk about the subject, not wanting to see her father. She knew her companion was worried for her, but she couldn't bring herself to talk about it, just changing the subject when he asked if she was okay. After all, he knew the answer. She began scheming of ways to get out of the marriage, and before long, a meeting was agreed upon between the two parties; the prince was to come to her estate, and they were to talk over tea. One of her many plans was to act as obnoxious and rude as she could to hopefully sway his decision, but as the prince arrived, all hell broke loose, her guardian taking her hand and rushing her out as fast as he could while enemy armies flooded in the front gates, the attack coming from nowhere. She ran with him as fast as she could, fearing for her life, yet relieved that it was all over.
Two times they were stopped by enemy men, and both times her guardian pushed her behind him and took care of the brutes in quick fluid motions, apologizing to her as he shook blood from his blade and kept running. The sight of the dead bodies disgusted her, and the blood made her queasy but she was able to keep going, the two finally reaching the stables. Already tacked, they mounted and departed, leaving through a hidden gate in the walls into the forest.
“Are you alright?” His voice was concerned and his eyes were on her.
“Let's not ever come back.” She answered, smiling for the first time in what felt like forever. Her problems were gone, she was with her guardian angel, and she never had to face her father again. She knew it was risky – if her kingdom prevailed, her father would still be alive and she'd be looked for, but she didn't care. They would run away forever. Taking his silence as an agreement, she gave her horse more rein, letting it run as fast as he could.
Skills:
She's nimble but fairly weak, knowing very little right now for self defence. She's somewhat savvy with a knife, but that is as good as it gets, having held a gun once or twice, but never fired. Knowing this, she'll usually distract her opponent or use near by objects to make their time harder, having her companion do the fighting.
