Ushering in a New Year

Hello everyone!
Firstly, I hope that this post finds each of you who reads it well. I hope that after the holidays, people are in better spirits, higher hopes, and have a cheerier outlook on the new year.
Secondly, I want to express my explicit gratitude and thanks to each of you for the warm welcome back, plus the patience you have all shown me after my prolonged absence.
Lastly, this message is also one of wanting to explain myself. As of late, I have only been able to show up on the site for a few moments at a time. As well all are well aware, 2016 may not have been the best of years for some of us, though I am certain that there were the bright parts within it. For myself, the year wasn't awful... until the very end. The day before New Years, I learned that a friend of mine had passed away. The news was sudden and without much information attached to it, but when I did look into the subject, I indeed found it to be true. So, these last few days, and a bit before, I had been dealing with the recourse of the holiday shopping, plus trying to work my way with the grief that I had.
I wanted to write this, not to call to mind my absence like before, but to shed light on my whereabouts recently.
I want to thank you all for your continued support, as I am in a much better place now that loose ends have been tided up, and wish to inform you that I will be doing my best to return to our RPs and eventual character creation... (Yes I'm talking directly to YOU Monkey!)
Thank you all, and here is my voice towards a better, fulfilling year for each of you!
