Hello all, and welcome to Wolfie's late New Year Resolutions!
As you could probably guess from my very long absence, I've been quite busy with personal stuff and haven't had the time, and sadly nor the motivation to rp. Yet, it's a new year (January was a free trial?), and there's a few things I'd like to accomplish this year.
1. Exercise More (Lose weight):
Cliche, yes I know. But it's something that has been on my mind recently, and something that I personally feel I need to do for myself. I'm definitely not overweight/obese, but I'm also definitely not what most would call fit or in shape. I would be much happier and more comfortable in my skin if I could work down the fat on my body, primarily my stomach. I find it very hard to get the motivation to do really any form of exercise. I have a Wii, an exercise bike, as well as access to multiple apps on my phone that can help me. However, anytime that I have attempted to exercise, I only keep it up for one or two days before I stop for months, sometimes a year or more before I exercise again at all. I do move around at work, being in retail you do have to walk around a bit and move equipment, but it's definitely not enough to help my goal. I also need to attempt to eat healthier than I do now, or at least moderate how much I eat. You know the "I'm on a See-food diet. I see food and eat it." That's pretty much me right now. I eat until I'm overfull, and can't seem to snap out of that habit.
2. Be more Organized/Procrastinate Less:
I am the queen of preparing myself for things, and having the urge to be organized.. then not following through. I feel like procrastination and organization go hand in hand for me. I want to be organized, then procrastinate doing so. It's a never ending cycle in my life. I would really like to follow through with my desires to be organized and not procrastinate cleaning up and organizing when it's needed. Homework is also quite a battle for me. At the beginning of the semester, I don't think I could be more prepared and wanting to stay on top and ahead. Yet my classes progress, I procrastinate assignments more and more. I'd like to be able to stay on top of all and every assignments so I don't have to stress about them right before the due date.
3. Rp more:
I really enjoy letting my creativity out into rp's, especially with such lovely and supportive people. Life gets in the way, and sometimes other things seem more interesting at the time, and sadly Noctre Imperii floats to the back of my mind. I may start out once or twice a week for an hour or two replying to rp's I am a part of and see if that helps. Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed by everyone's beautiful posts, and my lack of beauty and length that I get a bit deterred from replying, or get writer's block. But these rp's are supposed to help me improve my writing not stunt it, right? I should continue and let it do its' magic, and help me become better in writing.
I hope to be seeing more of you all, and if you have any suggestions or comments, or even your own resolutions for the year, I would love to hear them.
Thank you!
