Appearance:
Skye is an odd creature, even in anthro standards. He doesn't conform to any familiar species and his appearance could make one wonder what he was. Canid-like would be the best way to compare him to an already known animal, but there are several differences. Beginning with the ears, they are tall, long and slender, comprised of thick cartilage to support their size. His head most resembles a canine having a round skull and a medium snout, however his nose differs. Instead of a dark skin and nostrils in the front, his muzzle comes to a soft point and slits on each side for the nostrils. A long prehensile tongue, similar to a bat's, rests between his jaws. Another notable feature are his bioluminescent eyes, which glow in very low light. Lacking true pupils, the iris' are large rings of a soft mulberry color, while a smaller circle within the iris mimics a pupil at a darker hue. The last distinguishing aspects of Skye are his extremities and tail. His paw-like hands and feet have 4 digits, each having an opposable "thumb", making him very dextrous. Also, each digit and paw is padded with thick soft pads and come to a blunt claw on each digit. Finally the tail; the tail is rope-like and long, coming to a thicker base at his rear. Only the first 6" have bone, while the rest is soft, flexible and slightly prehensile.
The overall shape of Skye is slightly pear shaped, having wider hips than shoulders. At only 5' 1" (5' 10" if you stand his ears straight up), his stature can sometimes exaggerate his figure. He is also a little sensitive about his weight and thus has been known to cheat the scale with his abilities. Whatever his true weight is, he seems to be happy to tell others he's a healthy 117 lbs. A very short coat of cream colored fur covers Skye's small frame, except for his hand/feet pads, chest, belly and anywhere the skin touches skin that is covered by soft peach fuzz. On these thinly covered areas, one would notice his skin is a pale peach color and as such he cannot expose it to direct sunlight for too long for he will get sunburned. As such, he opts for clothes that cover a good portion of his body. Most of his wardrobe consists of not too tight nor not too loose clothing, usually comprising of pants/capris, long sleeve shirts, (mostly long-tailed/trench) coats and hats he can stuff his ears into. He tends to keep his paws covered with gloves to retain his soft pads, distaining callous'.
Magic/Element: Gravity Manipulation & Minor Gyro-telekinesis
Skye can manipulate the gravity of himself freely and almost anything he touches. However there are a few catches. If he touches any object, organism or person, he can manipulate their gravity too, but only with physical contact with bare skin and all 4 fingers on at least one hand. This also requires meditation-like concentration to impart this change of their individual gravity in order to manipulate it. Even then if he fulfils that criteria, he still has to keep all 4 fingers on them to continue to utilize his power upon them. If one were to possess a strong willpower, they could reject Skye's ability and it will be nullified, despite his efforts to manipulate their gravity. Also, between each activation and deactivation of his powers, there is a minimum 5 second cool down, greatly affecting quick follow-ups. The heavier the usage of his abilities increases the cool down, thus Skye tries to strategize his usage when in combat.
One exception to Skye's stipulations is that with inanimate objects, he can impart a permanent tie to his abilities only after 15 seconds of contact with both hands (8 digits), unless if he chooses to release that tie. If one were to be invited into his home, they shouldn't be surprised to find a floating item or two hovering by. He is unable to do this upon animals or people. He believes it is because he cannot manipulate those who possess a free will, as animals and people possess this, but inanimate objects and plants do not.

A simple attack but also potentially very effective. To execute, Skye touches his finger pads together and lifts his hands up, palms down. Then targeting a specific area or an area more widespread around him, he can impart a stronger gravitational field to that area by multiples of G (where 1G is equal to normal gravity), however taking a couple to several seconds to reach the specified amount. His current limit is 8G which also pushes his body to the limit, causing him to physically weaken and if pushed, he could pass out. While attacking, he is very open to counters and if his concentration is broken, then his attack ends.
"Gravity fist"
To activate this ability, Skye presses his finger pads together and a large aura orb encompasses them both. Then, pulling them apart, an orb encompasses each hand. These orbs are miniature negative gravitational fields, effectively creating a force field around each hand and near invulnerable armor to punch with. He can also repeat this action with his feet. Having little physical strength to boast about, this ability grants a significant buff, able to break rock and bend steel with a punch. While rarely attacking with a closed fist, he favors an open palm style when in close combat. However, if Skye were to attack a force or object stronger than his gravity, the punch/kick would rebound and possibly hurt him.
“Astral Push”
Touching or clasping his hands together and channeling his ability, Skye is able to create a nigh impenetrable force field around him. Proportional to the size and the amount of time used is how long the cooldown to this ability is. The minimal amount of cooldown no matter the size or duration is 5 seconds. He is also forced to remain motionless during this ability, lest to lose concentration and ending the instance of this ability.
"Astral Pull”
With a similar caedance to 'Astral Push', Skye is able to pull anything within a given radius towards him with the same rules of proportional usage and cooldown. However, this ability is much weaker than its sister counterpart. His pull can be easily countered by someone grabbing hold of something solid. Heavy things like vehicles he cannot move. Also, this move has little purpose other than to heavily persuade another to come to him, though they could easily overpower the pull he emits. He tends to use this to attract small objects out of laziness to move himself and retrieve said item.
"Planetary Creation"
With a similar caedance as 'Astral Push/Pull’, Skye enters a meditation like state, cupping his hands together and focuses his power into the space between them. A white hot orb forms and once ready he releases it into the air as it rises high up. Once at a given height, Skye claps his hands together and activates the orb. Becoming a relatively weak singularity, it creates its own gravitational pull and Earth and anything within its pull begins to lift from the ground and up towards the orb, becoming trapped as more Earth falls to the satellite. Proportional to the amount of effort Skye puts forth varies the size and the speed of the satellite created. Skye considers this ability a last resort for the amount of stress it puts on his body and because of this it shortens his lifespan.
Skills:
Skye doesn't possess many skills outside of an animal that can walk on two legs and has thumbs, other than the extra "thumbs" on his feet. He hasn't mastered complete dexterity, but he can pick up and grasp things with his feet similar to that of a hand. He possesses an above average grip strength, surpassing what an average adult male can hold onto just by a little. With the help of his abilities using his own body as weights and training with martial arts, Skye has been trying to discipline his body to not be so weak. Doing so has increased his overall strength, agility and endurance similar to that of an active soldier. While not a skill, this is moreso an extenuation of his physical prowess.
At a young age, Skye discovered his knack for cooking and baking. Honing this talent over the years, some have compared his cooking to an expert chef. Currently, his culinary understanding is reaching new depths, learning the science behind cooking. Don't ask him questions though, he probably couldn't tell you what xanthan gum does to sauces.
Having a… unique figure, clothing is rare to come by that fits Skye's picky tastes. Taking up tailoring, he has become proficient in customizing and crafting his own clothes. A skill learned out of necessity, despite this he considers it a fun hobby and experiments with different styles. The majority of his wardrobe are articles that he's modified in some way to suit him.
Personality:
Naturally, Skye keeps a more neutral demeanor and is hard to read most of the time. But that doesn’t mean he shows no emotion. In fact when brought out of his neutral state, his emotions slide out onto his sleeve much like those who’ve tipped a couple back and loosened up. Not only sensitive to his own emotions, he also tries to keep in mind the emotions of others, filtering what he says. Most of the time though, he keeps his sentences short. To go along with his neutral demeanor, Skye is reserved and prefers to stay at home and keep himself busy with his own hobbies and routines. A majority of the time, he’s happy as a clam being a homebody, however once in a while he gets the itch to do something else. On those times he does branch out, it's never too fancy or over stimulating. The night life has never interested him. Socializing is a very big weak point and despite his discipline, Skye hasn’t put forth the effort to better his social life beyond making small talk. A quiet place and a coffee or an unpopulated bar is plenty for him. Grocery shopping even is enough interaction to last a week, though he has become accustomed to it as he will rarely eat out and prefers his own cooking.
When push comes to shove, Skye’s emotions flare up and his filters break. His anger is quiet like he is unless if he needs to speak his mind and let the other have it when enough is enough. Getting him to blow his top takes quite the effort as he simmers long before he boils over. This means he often keeps the bad emotions to himself, but the kinks created by those emotions are usually ironed out through his regular meditation and physical trainings. Once cooled off, rational thinking will return and he'll probably ask forgiveness for whatever just happened.
If one were to learn of his past, they would understand better his strong desire to live and better himself through his routines and self discipline. They would also understand this because he's insecure with himself, wanting a better way to portray himself to others. This is why his wardrobe consists of clothes that cover. When it does come to any social interaction that he does so willingly or not, Skye strives to be presentable and clean any time of the day. This neatness is carried over to his home as well, always prepared for the company he rarely gets.

Skye's past goes back further than he can remember. A synthetic being, he was born artificially and has no biological parents or family for that matter. A glass tube filled with an artificial amniotic fluid the womb and the laboratory his mother, he was brought into this world as one of the few currently successful experiments of CreeAtions. Lucky as he was, depending who you talk to, the few he's apart of matured enough into phase two of Project STARS (Synthetic Tracking Anabolic Regulatory Sequences), the stage of living unsupported and in open air. Previously, the doctors hypothesized that the gestation period wasn't long enough and with Skye and his effective "siblings" batch, they incubated much longer than any normal animal mother keeps their offspring before they are birthed. Skye and his siblings were kept genderless as the doctors weren't ready for their subjects to have the capability to reproduce in fear of the possibilities that they would be liable for. Reaching infancy, the subjects were kept in stasis for an extra 3 years, fed necessarily supplements through the artificial umbilical cord and monitored 24/7. Once the time came, each of the subjects of the batch were "birthed" so to speak once a week so their vitals could be monitored and stabilized. After 4 weeks and Skye being the last, all have entered phase two and received their tattoo ID, placed under the right armpit. All subjects were cared for by surrogate "parents", one anthro and one human, as their guardian and physician. Remaining at the CreeAtions facility, they received education similar to that of home school and also time to discover and train their abilities. Each of the subjects were free to pursue intramurals and activities that suited their interests. This is when Skye found his love for cooking. Unfortunately after a few years into the program, Number 2 subject passed away due to complications; the rest remained healthy.
Once having matured into adolescents, Project STARS subjects were able to explore beyond the CreeAtions campus while under the guidance of their surrogate parents. Once a week, they were at liberty to spend the day as they pleased. Despite these socialization attempts and the encouragement of his guardians, Skye never warmed up to the idea. However, he did learn great discipline through his guardians and teachers, dutiful in honing his abilities and his mind. A lot was expected of Skye and his other siblings, but they were not aware of this as they had no other families to compare themselves to. Outsiders to the CreeAtion facility would see the subjects' lifestyle strenuous, especially for their age. If asked, however, Skye would at least respond that it felt normal and he wasn't suffering in any way possible. Sometimes he would think about others who did have family by blood as the subjects weren't sheltered from the world around them; actually quite the contrary. One day, as he was reaching adulthood, requested a sit down with his guardians down and talked with them after thinking over the numerous questions he has developed over the years. While the facility never hid the fact they were different, the doctors wanted the subjects to be ready to ask and be mentally prepared for the answers. Skye asked and listened and his guardians explained everything they could, everything from his conception, up to why he the way and his siblings were. A world’s worth of information to process, he thanked them and allowed it all to seep in, staying quiet in his room. Most of the information he processed he was content with, but the facts about his biology he got snagged on. Rising out of the chair he was sitting in and disrobing in front of the mirror, his eyes scanned his reflection. Seeing his bare form surprised him for the first time, now wiser to his purpose. Often he wondered if finding a partner was even in the cards as he possessed nothing to offer them, no reason to start a family when none can be had. While at the time he was content with being alone, what if years down the road he desired a companion? No one will want him. Overwhelmed with the thought, Skye cupped his face with his hands and cried softly to himself.
Several years have passed since the day of revelation, as he calls it. Having grown and matured from it has instilled a fire from within. Instead of wallowing in what could have become self hate, depression and low self esteem, Skye couldn’t turn his back to his maker and needed to show them how much of a success they were. He needed to show them and himself that it was worth it. He was going to try to be the best he could so he could be happy with himself and show potential partners who he was despite his handicaps.
Reaching adulthood, the Project STARS Subjects were released into the wild to live on their own. Able to choose their location and have guaranteed housing contingent on finding employment, Skye has chosen the West side of the city of Thor, having a residential atmosphere without being completely disconnected from the modern world. Still preferring some privacy, he was able to acquire a small home where the dwellings were further apart unlike how some where one could look out a window and spy on their surrounding neighbors. Semi-rural without being farmland, it was perfect, having a sizable yard that backed into a wooded area and still close enough to have modern commodities. Landing a cook position at a decent restaurant got him the house and a big plus was that social interaction was limited to his coworkers. Shy at first, he warmed up to them after a few weeks and with confidence he can see himself moving up in the kitchen as they begin to recognize his talents.
