(design by Kikuyoshi) Many moons had passed since last she had tread any part of the beautiful and mysterious isle of the sky. Most oft she spent her time below, indulging her whims for amusement. Now, she wasn't sure quite what she sought but something had drawn her to visit. Maybe it was the desire for tranquility. Yes, that must be it. She looked around at the plethora of vegetation. It quite literally surrounded and filled every space in this area. Trees and flowers of all varieties - some unique only to this place - and of all sizes and colors. It was beyond breathtaking and in the brilliant moonlight, some parts of it were simply magical in their own right.
She breathed in and out deeply, finding a small clearing between the masses of flora and finally came to a stop, tilting her furry head skyward. In her most recent days on the lands below, she had become accustomed to her human form. But here and now, she had chosen to return to her natural wolven form. Her silver markings always had some sort of soft glow in moonlight, shimmering against the pure white of her coat. She tilted her ears gently, listening for movement or other signs of life - should someone else approach or be present.
At last, she sat back, her slender form making the movement both graceful and fluid. That much was natural to her.
She hadn't yet decided if she preferred to be alone, or if some part of her hoped for company. Though at last, she decided if she did have company, she had no desire for her typical mischief. Instead, she truly did seek to merely be herself and enjoy a moment of peace. Maybe it was this place. While it had certainly been ages, it never failed to bring back old memories. She couldn't help the soft smile that graced her lips as even now they began to dance across her mind.

The moon on this particular night was indeed solemn and beautiful. Having made his home among the territories of the Myoujou Island, Gal'Zorath had become quite accustomed to the wondrous sites it beheld. And they never ceased to amaze either. The night cool and breezy as his eyes remained shut for a few moments to enjoy the smells of the local flora that grew in this particular region. His breaths came slow and deep enjoying every moment that passed with much appreciation for the life all around him. For one who has been alive long enough to see both the birth and death of stars and planets, the lifespan of any living organism seemed but a fleeting dream and thus has gifted him the perspective to profoundly appreciate all life no matter how big or small, plants and animals alike. Opening his shimmering amber eyes slowly, he gazed up to the moon and spread his wings and allowed the wind to catch in them, jumping softly and thrusting his wings but one time, his lithe and agile form effortlessly melded into the wind as he rotated himself around and soared skyward. The Koumei Forest that housed the Suishou Garden was expansive to say the least. From a skybound view it stretched as boundless as the ocean itself and made the Myoujou Island appear as though it was its own world above the world in which it floated.
The view was magnificent to put lightly but short lived as Gal'Zorath looked for an opening within the garden to land. The rich fruits that grew there were a most sweet and delectable treat to have on such a night. It wasn't long before such an opening revealed itself and he plummeted from the sky. A faint but shimmering trail of light flowed behind his wings upon his descent, closely resembling the furthest twinkling stars in the night sky. A multitude of soft colors danced about in the trail that gradually faded away at the end of the trail. Upon his approach Gal'Zorath swept around to face against the breeze and slowed himself to a stop so elegantly, so smooth and fluid one would think he manipulated the very air around him to carry him to the ground. Not so much as a single breeze of a slipstream behind him could be noticed or felt. His movements as he walked were no less majestic. His eyes scanned around for but a moment before he finally spotted a large fruit bearing tree which provided a somewhat bitter sweet fruit that much resembled the shape and color of a mango. Striding over to this tree he began to eat them one by one without even a care of what else may be around him. As he ate, a soft green mist began to settle, expanding slowly from his wings in a ring around him. Small electric sparks seemed to zip through the mist every so often. The sparks weren't ominous with loud cracks, but rather like the energy itself was friendly or playful with quiet zings.

(design by Kikuyoshi) 'Company it is,' she thought when the soft trail of light became evident. The presence of another was not surprising. One thing she had learned was that in this world, one was often not lonely for long, regardless of where he or she might be, unless one used magic to hide or intentionally sought out to be isolated.
She watched as the other descended and chose its focus - a fruit-bearing tree. He seemed perfectly content munching away for the moment, and truthfully she could have chosen simply to observe. In fact, she wondered if after devouring his snack - or meal - he might've simply been on his way. That was also perfectly reasonable. Still, it was certainly not polite to stare, she told herself. And further, this creature drew her curiosity. Of course she recognized he was dragonkin, but he was far different than any she had encountered. And that was saying much given how long she had been around and the array of creatures she had encountered in that time. This wasn't even the only world she had seen.
As she drew nearer, she watching the small electric sparks dance about seemingly with a life of their own. Harmless, fascinating. Surely they would also cause damage if this dragon wanted them to, she thought. "Greetings," she said, her voice soft and fluid as her movements.

The fruit in which Gal'Zorath had chosen to partake in was most certainly delectable. The building sweet flavor overtaking the initial bitterness in every bite was a combination that both contrasted and blended perfectly. He wasn't even aware of the healing mist that had begun to settle around him as he enjoyed his little late night snack. The moonlight reflecting off of and making the mist appear even more shimmering than usual. The tiny electric sparks that zinged around within would be enough to invigorate any living thing that stepped within the very mist they danced. A soft yet elegant voice however snapped his consciousness back to reality from his fruity blissful dream. "Greetings." the voice said simply. Upon hearing the word, Gal'Zorath turned his attention to the source from which it came. A white wolf with silver markings stood not far from him. It was apparent this is the one whom had spoken. Swallowing the fruit that had remained in his mouth, Gal'Zorath took a moment to look the creature over from where he stood. "Well now, hello there." he spoke. His voice rang with an otherworldly tone. Both clear and crisp. If ones voice could twinkle ever so gently then it would have like a distant star or galaxy. His webbed transparent wings stretched out for but a moment giving a quick glimpse of their full glory before folding back to his sides. The transparent sections between the supporting webbed bones seemed to glow a brilliant aqua green in the moonlight as it refracted through them. A slight tilt of his head signified his curiosity. Or perhaps his amusement? "This planet never ceases to amaze me. Truly, no two beings appear the same no matter how many I see." His statement was certainly one of both amusement and bewilderment. It was a genuine feeling and one that was expressed as such. "What brings you here? A late night stroll as a native to the island or a simple passerby?" His question coming forth from his own yearning to learn as much about anything and everything on this planet as he could. After-all... he had searched eons upon eons in the cosmos to find a place to settle down so why not learn all you can about your home?

(design by Kikuyoshi) Edreiah was pleasantly surprised by the gentleness of the sparks and mist that danced. Indeed, she could feel the warmth and energy. The dragon was elegant in her eyes, which was certainly significant as she most often would use that word of herself. A trivial thought. She blinked and smiled at his response. It was a true observation - and revealed a newness about this particular dragon. She also found herself curious and wanting to learn more. How much time had passed now, she wondered, since she had come here to this world? Of course, she could never truly forget from where she had come, though she did try.
"You're certainly correct, there are so many different creatures in this world - it's rather mind twisting, indeed," she responded softly, sitting back and glancing over his figure in more detail. She pondered a moment as he questioned further. Well, she could ask him the same, except he had already indicated he was not a native. "Neither, actually. More like a visitor reflecting on pleasant pastimes and enjoying a bit of peace away from the troubles elsewhere." She paused, sniffing at a fruit that lay near one of her paws and then biting into it and enjoying its blend of flavors. "And what of yourself?" she asked.
