Roleplay Rules

-Absolutely no Powerplaying or Godmodding. - Powerplay is when you control someone else's character or do something to that character without the owner's permission. This is not only not allowed, but infringes on someone else's roleplay freedom.
-Godmodding is when your character is too powerful and also falls into a character that always wins and never takes any damage or has no weaknesses. Everyone has flaws and this applies to characters as well.

-Type your posts in legible, readable English and use proper sentence structure.

-Do not use chat speak in roleplay.  Chatspeak is when abbreviations or short words are used, such as 'u' for you or 'lol' as opposed to 'laugh out loud'. This is a semi-advanced forum and thus writing is expected to be expanded and thought out.

-Make an effort to post more than short sentences.  Remember, this is a semi-advanced forum and most members here will be posting long paragraphs or at least well developed posts. Making smaller posts isn't against the rules, and are necessary at times, but please try to develop your writing skills and keep up with the forums standards and abilities.

-Take turns during roleplay.  If there are only two people involved, wait for the other person before you post again. Having back to back posts of your own character is rude. When there are three or more people, wait for each other before you post again unless the third person makes it clear they are in and out. If they are gone for several days, then you may post without them to keep the roleplay going.

-This forum is considered PG-13.  That means that there are people on this forum under 18 and to respect them, no graphic content and minimal swearing is required. That includes both romantic and battle content. As for swearing, we have set up censor words for this forum, but still keep your character's language to a minimum.

-NO CROSSOVERS between the Noctre Imperii worlds and the Human/Anthro worlds. No exceptions.  The two worlds are separate and not only that, but have different technologies and abilities. The Human/Anthro worlds allow for more modern settings whereas the Noctre Imperii territories have very limited technology, even in the human villages. They have guns, but old-school fire-locks. Most of the weapons are medieval in nature (ie. swords, daggers, good-ol-fists and teeth, etc.) If you want a highly advanced technological character to be allowed in the Noctre Imperii territories, you must PM Relairah for permission and have a way to explain this character's advancements.



-Liquid time is allowed.  What is liquid time, you ask? It is true that no character is allowed to bend time or time-travel, however liquid time means that your character can join multiple threads, as many as you can handle. It also means that you can skip time if you're waiting for an event or for a particular plot-line to continue. However, be courteous and aware of others and don't join lots of roleplays and disappear for long periods of time without giving them a headsup.

-The first part of the pa.ss-w.o.r.d to the new characters board is:  shinkou. You will need this to get into the new profiles board in order to post a new character profile. You will find the second part elsewhere in the rules to ensure newbies are getting all the information.

-Limits on Puppies/Births:  Here on Noctre Imperii, the seasons are subjective due to liquid time and different territories/character travels, therefore we don't restrict births to certain times or seasons. However, we do ask that your characters have no more than 5 puppies in a litter and please wait 6 months for the same characters to have more.
