Name: Ammon
Gender: Male
Race: Wolf
Sub-Race: N/A
Breed: Ohm/demon wolf mix.
Pack: Noctre Imperii
Rank: Noble
Appearance: Black, goat-like horns adorn the top of Ammon's head, brightening to silver as they begin to taper. As a result of his joining with a corrupted spirit of fire, his eyes have become completely black. Most of his fur is also black, but his mane is a dark, navy blue. His mane almost touches the ground, and engulfs his neck, shoulders, chest, and reaches to the middle of his belly. Ammon has been crippled severely: his back right leg and wings were torn off by a group of cruel, young Druins who attempted to kill him due to his heritage. His leg was torn off at the knee, and the ripping off of his wings left two jagged formations of bone and flesh in their place. Ammon was given a new leg by the then-regent of Giaku, Charon. The new leg is made primarily of silver, and is enchanted to never tarnish and to respond to his movements as would a flesh-and-blood leg. It looks as if it is made of both a liquid and a solid, seeming to flow like a river yet never moving unless he wills it. His eye was gouged out, and his eyelid torn off, by a rabid Shinkou wolf during the brief, but costly, Battle for Giaku. After the battle's end, Lord Charon, now the Dominus of Giaku after Ammon's ascension, fashioned Ammon a new eye during the week the Emperor was unconscious and recovering from his injuries. The replacement eye is a magical sphere made primarily of onyx, with an unknown bright red material making up the Druinish runes flitting across the polished surface. The runes glow an intense scarlet at times, seeming to react to moments of intense emotion or surprise.
Personality: The abandonment by his mother and the loss of three of his limbs as a child affected Ammon deeply. To this day, he still suffers from frequent nightmares and terrors plaguing his dreams, made worse by the corrupted fire spirit that joined with him around the time he lost his leg and wings. Like many Giaku wolves, he had a strong hatred for Shinkou, especially after the recent war in which they invaded Giaku. Unlike most Giaku wolves, however, he values life over grudges and will attempt a diplomatic course of action before a violent one. Peace with Shinkou is not out of the question with him, just incredibly unlikely.
He is not one for public spectacle, often putting him at odds with his position as Emperor of Giaku. He prefers to rule from the shadows and is more of an advisor to Empress Lacrimosa than an actual emperor. He tries to be compassionate, but firm, as much as possible to his subjects, learning from Emperor Tartarus' mistake of being a cruel leader, which lead to the weakening of Giaku. Ammon is also fiercely loyal to Lord Charon Tartarus Apollo for saving his life almost four decades ago in the incident which cost Ammon his wings and leg, and defends the former regent's harsh actions taken to quell insurrections and rebellions after Emperor Tartarus' assassination.
Magic: Darkfire, the result of a corrupted fire spirit joining Ammon.
-Spells:Darkfire behaves much like normal fire, save that it is harder to extinguish through non-magical means. Ammon is able to breathe Darkfire in front of him as a 20 foot cone. It emits no heat and instead seems to absorb the heat around it, making the area surrounding it noticeably colder. If not quickly put out, it will slowly eat away at flesh it comes into contact with to the bone. However, the corrupted spirit influences the mind of its host, giving him or her vivid nightmares and makes them prone to outbursts of anger and violence. It becomes difficult to rein in the darker impulses in the midst of battle and even kind and gentle wolves will become cruel and merciless.

Biography: Ammon was born in Shinkou to an Ohm mother, Kalpana, and a demon wolf father. Soon after his birth, his father left and Kalpana was left alone to raise a young Ammon and his half-sister. Ammon's life was rather uneventful until his demonic heritage began to show in the form of horns. He was constantly harassed and bullied by some of the more closed-minded members of Shinkou and Akeru. His mother began to worry for his safety and spirited him away to Giaku in hopes that he would be more accepted in the Druin-ruled demon pack. A female demon wolf was willing to adopt Ammon as her own, and his care was then entrusted to her. She raised and treated him well, by Giaku standards, and he still believes her to be his biological mother as he was too young to remember Kalpana, at least consciously. Although his adoptive mother was good to him, she was at times a bit inattentive. Shortly after Ammon's first birthday he was cornered by a group of young Druin, all of them out for blood. Since Ohm weren't looked upon kindly in Giaku, Ammon was decided to be their target. Ammon suffered many wounds at the hands of the group, some being near-fatal. The group eventually frenzied and tore off Ammon's wings and back right leg at the knee. Lord Charon, then-regent of Giaku after his father's assassination, happened upon the scene and quickly slew the young Druins, despite an Imperial law enacted by his father which stated the weak should be left to die. The regent whisked the beaten and bloodied Ammon to the Imperial Tower of Hatsuhi to be treated for life-threatening injuries. Upon hearing of what had befallen her son, Ammon's adoptive mother offered to give him to the Empire as a servant. This decision was not done out of kindness or for his protection; his adoptive mother was ashamed that her son was maimed and beaten without so much as a fight, disowning him to distance her name from him. This affected Ammon deeply, contributing to his bouts of melancholy. Charon accepted the offer, ruffling many nobles' feathers at the disregard of his father's own mandates.
After Ammon was brought back to health he entered into the service of Regent Charon Tartarus Apollo as a slave. Most of his duties pertained to being the playmate of the newly crowned, though still underage, Empress Lacrimosa. The relationship between the two got off to a rocky start, as Lacrimosa was a rather immature pup and constantly berated him for being deformed. He only put up with the young Empress because he felt deeply indebted to Charon. The two often played together through their first few years, usually because Lacrimosa commanded Ammon and gave him no choice in the matter. As the two matured, however, their constant time together made it quite easy for feelings to develop. Lacrimosa's childish insults and immaturity turned into respect and friendship. Ammon's shy nature and resentment toward Lacrimosa vanished, and the pair became good friends.
On Lacrmosa's third birthday Charon rewarded Ammon for his faithful service, replacing his lost leg with a piece of metal made primarily of silver enchanted to act as a flesh and blood leg. Ammon immediately rushed off to show off the gift to the Empress and wish her a happy birthday as well. Lacrimosa welcomed the news of Ammon's gift with enthusiasm, and the two played for a short time before Lacrimosa suddenly grew silent and serious. It was then that Lacrimosa admitted her feelings to Ammon, asking him to become her mate, an offer he gladly accepted as his feelings for her had also grown the years they had known one another. Soon after Ammon was crowned as Empress Lacrimosa’s Emperor-Consort, the two had three children together: a son, Ammunae, a daughter, Dirge, and an unnamed pup who did not survive its birth.
The first few years of the two’s reign was relatively peaceful, with only the usual personal conflicts and fighting taking place among Giaku’s citizenry. That came to an end when Shinkou and Akeru, through the machinations of power-hungry wolves affiliated with none of the three Great Packs, attacked Giaku directly and sparked off a short but costly war. Emperor Ammon led the defense of the borders and was injured the fighting, losing one of his eyes. Once again he survived being maimed, and once again due to Charon’s intervention. As costly as the war was, no sides came out on top and plans of the power-hungry outsiders were discovered only after untold damage had been done to the landscape, both spiritually and physically. Putting aside his hatred of Shinkou, Emperor Ammon supported the move to merge the three packs and has since stepped back into the shadows, only playing in pack politics when his adoptive uncle asks it of him.
